I have loved some of the other books by this author but was disappointed with this series. It's steamier than some of her other books and I don't think that it needed to be so. A good story teller doesn't need to add it and this author is a good story teller. In this case, I felt that the added "steam" detracted. I would give the series a lower rating but loved the concept of book 3, (Alex and Bab's story).Product details

fun to read, would like to see more of these older books free for kindle. Amanda is a wonderful writer.
A complete series of stories won't leave you hanging out for more. It was a good story line and an easy read
I had read these books before in paper form. Enjoyed them then and enjoyed them this time. The story lines are entertaining.
Fun romp about Highlands history

The four novels which comprise this collection were delightful to read. One learns about or revisits a very interesting period in the history of England and Scotland, meets some charaters of both our human world and that of the little people, shares some adventure and romance and loves every moment of it. Not perhaps great literature, but what pleasure these books provide!
Once again Amanda Scott wrote another interesting and entertaining book. I highly recommend this book for you to read. I loved it.
